Paul Kalbfleisch is a skilled writer, educator, visual artist and creative business leader. One of his visual tools is the camera. While he loves how it forces him to observe the world around him, he was never happy with his photographic results. “Photography captures life and freezes it into a single moment. That’s not the reality I choose to be inspired by.”  His art starts in a photographic mode, but his intent is to explore something other than frozen moments – something that is perhaps more real. 

His work captures unfinished moments in life and deconstructs them until they are no longer frozen.  These fluid three dimensional works encourage people to view reality with courage and optimism.
